(Text at the top reads "976 Years Later..." Kieran sits in a dark room, leaning against the back of his faded plum chair. He has some old book in his lap, and he's turning a page. Suddenly, he hears Emerald calling his name.)

Emerald: Kieran!

(Kieran looks up from his book.)

Kieran: ... Emerald?

[Panel 3]

(Kieran leaves his book on the seat of the chair. The side of the panel shows his mane, tail, and right leg as he quickly leaves to find the source of this voice.)

[Panel 4]

(A scene outside, at night, in the snow. A female unicorn delphin in a green cloak runs away from a hole in the fence behind her. The mare is lavender in color, with a darker purple on her nose and ear tips. She appears to have several gouges on her nose, possibly having used her nose to help push the fence aside. Her horn appears pink, and her mane is mulberry in color. Her bright blue eyes look back, in hopes she wasn't followed. In her arms, she carries a small bundle: her newborn foal. The foal is wrapped in a crimson blanket, and her black muzzle pokes past the hood her mother has fashioned from the bright fabric.)
