(Text above the panel reads "That evening..." The panel shows Emerald biting down on the trapezius muscle, between the beck and shoulder, of a light brown wolf. Her magic swirls around him, holding him in place. She is not aware of her surroundings.)

[Panel 2]

(A blue-grey furred wolf grabs Emerald hair and pulls her away from the brown wolf.)

[Panel 3]

(As the grey wolf pulls Emerald backwards, he also thrusts forward with a knife. The blade of the knife is a dark grey metal, and it glows with a green hue. As the blade pierces her, a sizzle, not unlike meat tossed into a hot skillet, follows. The text added as a sound effect  here reads "Sssss!")

[Panel 4]

(As the blade is pulled from her, her blood already congealing from the heat, clings to the blade. Smoke begins rising from the wound. Text on this panel is scratchy and hand written. It reads "EMERALD!" as Kieran sees what has happened.)

[Panel 5]

(Kieran rushes over and attacks the wolf with the blade. The shot shows the wolf losing his balance as Kieran grabs for him. Emerald has collapsed to her knees on the ground. Smoke rises from any part of her fur that is exposed.)
